We are grateful for our long standing partnership with The Farm at SOU. Through the years Rogue Valley Farm to School has had the opportunity to bring students out to the farm to explore, harvest, taste and enjoy being on a farm in the heart of Ashland. A huge shout out to Zhu Parker, current Farm Manager, her expertise and hard work have made an abundant and beautiful place for our Harvest Meal, Harvest Snack and Fall Exploration field trips! Zhu and her crew are always ready to help make our programs special, including donating greens this fall for Family Engagement Night at Orchard Hill Elementary, where families made salad dressings to enjoy with the greens to learn about emulsification and sediment.
