Reserve Your Farm to School Experience
Registration for 2026 Fall Field Trips & classroom visits is opening Thursday, september 10th at 3:30pm!
If you are interested in joining our mailing list for reminders about field trip registration, please let us know in our Interest Form!
To schedule a program once registration opens, request a date from the scheduler below. Registration will be open until all spots are filled. For fall field trips, once you choose your date and time, you will be prompted to select “Fall Exploration” for preschool-5th grade OR “Harvest Snack” for 2nd-5th grade.
If you find that all of the spots are taken when you go to register, please add your name to the waiting list.

Fall Exploration Field Trip
Students will tour the farm using their five senses, sample organic vegetables and discover what is happening on the farm in fall/spring. Activities will be tailored for your age group.
Ages Served: Preschool-5th grade
Group Size: up to 40 students
Cost: $250

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30-11:00 & 11:45-1:15: The Farm at SOU in Ashland
harvest snack Field Trip
While on the farm, students will harvest fruits and vegetables from the field and practice basic cooking techniques to prepare a simple farm fresh snack in our outdoor kitchen.
Ages Served: Grades 2+
Group Size: 1 class, or up to 30 students if combining groups
Cost: $250

Tastebud Trekkers Classroom Visit
Ages Served: 2nd-5th grade
Cost: $350 for 2 classes* ($175 per class)
Offered on Mondays & Wednesdays (we will work with you to find the best timing)
Our educator will come to your classroom to lead your students through a 75-minute lesson focused on a seasonally available, locally-grown fruit or vegetable. Students will become junior chefs by practicing basic cooking skills and working together to prepare a quick and simple tasty snack using the featured ingredient. Beyond the recipe, we'll explore where the fruit or vegetable comes from, from the soil to the plate, helping kids connect with our local food system and understand how these foods fuel their bodies.
*This program and its pricing is designed to serve two classes at your school per day. Please be prepared to sign up two classes when you register.
